Bonn, Dec 05 (deutschenews24.de/dpa) -- Bayern Munich are without defender Jerome Boateng in their final Champions League group match against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, in which coach Carlo Ancelotti plans to make several changes.
Ancelotti said Monday that Boateng is nursing a shoulder problem and that he wants "fresh players" for the game.
Atletico have already clinched first place and Bayern second in the group. But Munich want to stretch their record run in the event to 15 straight home wins, against Atletico who beat them 1-0 in Spain and also ousted them in the semi-finals last season.
"The motivation is very high you play against such a strong opponent," Ancelotti said.
